The team at Dogs Trust Loughborough are determined to find a doggie duo a new home together, after they found themselves homeless through no fault of their own.

Rhodesian Ridgeback Crossbreeds JJ and Bipper, who are both eight, are totally devoted to each other; wherever one goes, the other follows and that’s why the team are hoping that they will soon be following each other into a new home of their own.

Celine Di Crocco, Manager at Dogs Trust Loughborough, says:

“JJ and Bipper came to us after their owner sadly passed away. They were obviously much loved dogs and they are the best of friends. They are a really terrific twosome and we’re hoping it won’t be too long before some big-hearted dog lovers fall in love, twice over.”

Bipper is a bouncy boy whereas JJ is the more sensitive of the two and although he loves playing with Bipper, he isn’t keen on other canine companions. That’s why the team are hoping their new home will have a secure garden where they can play to their heart’s content, with quiet walks close by when it’s time to head out on an adventure.

Celine says:

“JJ and Bipper love each other’s company but would prefer not to share their new home with any other pets. They really love people and they would be happy to live with children aged 15 and over. JJ does sometimes like to chill out on his own, so his family will need to give him space when he wants it. However, they would both really benefit from having their two-legged friends around most of the day, particularly whilst they settle in.

“Welcoming a dog into your life is a huge commitment, but we are really hoping that there is a family of dog-lovers out there who are ready to welcome two canine companions into their home. If you double the dogs, you double the fun and lifelong love!”
